Bortnet Email Hosting Setup Guide

Open your Outlook email settings, and create a new account:

Click Next, and select the server type.

• You can select either POP or IMAP
  

Click Next to setup the mailbox.

• The email address is the mailbox address that you set up in Bortnet
  
• The User Name is the email address of the Bortnet mailbox that you are setting up
  
• The password is your registered Bortnet password
  
• Set the Incoming mail server to mail.bortnet.com
  
• Check "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" for secure authentication
  

Open your Mail.app preferences.

• Click on the Accounts tab
  
• Click on the "+" on the bottom left to add a new email account
  
• Select either POP or IMAP as the Account Type
  
• Enter mail.bortnet.com as the Incoming Mail Server
  
• The User Name is the email address of the Bortnet mailbox that you are setting up
  
• The Password is your registered Bortnet password
  
• Click Continue
  

• The email address is the mailbox address that you set up in Bortnet
  
• The Password is your registered Bortnet password
  
• Click Continue
  
• Set you incoming email server (see setup guide)
  
• Confirm settings
  

• Double check your configuration
